The West is using unproductive measures against Russia, despite all available methods for the complete defeat of the Kremlin.
This opinion was voiced at the international conference re: publica in Berlin by the former world chess champion, Russian oppositionist Garry Kasparov, reports Deutsche Welle.
According to him, "Putin's regime is conducting a purposeful war with the free world, trying to disavow the very concept of democracy, they say, there is no democracy in Russia, but in the West, democracy is a fiction".
Kasparov stressed that this Kremlin plan is being consistently implemented and has already yielded certain results both in Europe and in America. Now, however, the Western media and the governments of Western countries, he pointed out, understood what they were dealing with.
True, the protective measures that the West still accepts, Kasparov considers insufficient and unproductive.
"We must attack, we must smash all this infrastructure. After all, these are not special technologies developed in Russia, just capable people use what was invented in the West, so the West's methods more than enough would have political will, "he said..
As reported by the "Observer", earlier the US postponed the bill on new sanctions against Russia.
