US President Donald Trump signed a decree to extend for another year the sanctions and other restrictive measures against Syria, according to a statement by the White House.
In the US, assets of some Syrian individuals and legal entities will be blocked. Donald Trump urged Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to respect the ceasefire and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to the population.
Also, the United States expressed its willingness to provide weapons to the people's self-defense groups of Syria (composed mainly of Kurds) in their struggle against "IGIL".
32 people died in the north-east of Syria, dozens were injured in the attack by the IGIL group at a checkpoint near the refugee camp.
