Moldovan President Igor Dodon was the only foreign head of state who visited the military parade on Red Square in Moscow on the occasion of May 9.

In the list of officials published on the Kremlin's website, it is noted that in addition to participating in the parade, Dodon took part in laying flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden and a solemn reception on the occasion of the seventy-second anniversary of victory.
