French President Francois Hollande promised that the hacker attack on the headquarters of the presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron will not remain unanswered.

He also said that he knew about the high likelihood of such risks, as it already happened in other states, reports Le Figaro.

As it became known earlier, Macron's headquarters was hacked, as a result of which a large amount of data was stolen.

The user under the name Emleaks posted on the file sharing service Pastebin, which allows to publish data anonymously, 9 GB of information from the headquarters computers and a dump of work mail.

It was reported that the leakage of documents occurred too late to affect the outcome of the election. WikiLeaks employees check some data that gets into the network.
