Presidents of the United States and Russia Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin will meet not earlier than July.

This was stated by the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergei Lavrov, RIA Novosti reports..



"Presidents Putin and Trump spoke on the phone a few days ago, had a good talk, they mentioned the upcoming contacts between them and as the nearest opportunity the G-20 meeting was called in Hamburg in July," Lavrov said..

According to him, there are no plans to hold a meeting of presidents in the next couple of months.

As reported by the "Observer", the last time Trump and Putin talked on Tuesday, May 2. The presidents held a telephone conversation, as a result of which they spoke mainly about Syria.
