Now everything depends on the Russians

In Russia, a political system is arranged in such a way that final decisions are taken at the political level, and not in courts (the Russian oppositionist Aleksey Navalny was officially banned from participating in the upcoming presidential elections. The formal reason for the removal of Navalny from the presidential race was the decision of the Kirov regional court to dismiss the complaint of the politician on the previously handed down verdict in the scandalous "Kirovles". - Ed.. Courts are subordinate to the executive, and this decision can not be final until the presidential election is even announced.

The task of the Navalny company is exactly to force the power to register it regardless of any court decisions. We in Russia perfectly understand that the courts are very conditional in nature and the court's decision, which was published yesterday, is rather a declaration of intentions of the Presidential Administration. It shows that for today they do not want to see Navalny as president. But it was understandable, in general, originally. And Navalny himself said that he perfectly understands this.

The task is very simple: to make sure that the costs of not registering Navalny for the Kremlin were higher than the costs of registration. Approximately how was the Moscow measure in its time. Then initially Navalny no one planned to register, but then a large public company started for its registration and as a result the government was forced to admit him to the elections. In Russia, laws are directly subordinated to political expediency, so of course the final decision is not final. I am sure that Navalny's company will continue to register for registration and the chances are.

Navalny is the most popular candidate and the only candidate who seriously challenges Putin.

Will it be allowed to the elections - depends on people and their supporters. If there really is such a large and powerful company that Navalny plans to support his registration, and if enough civil pressure is put on Putin, the chances are.
