The lower house of Congress passed a bill that broadens "the government's efforts to counter the implicit influence of the Russian Federation on the domestic policy of the American state and other countries".

- The House of Representatives on Wednesday adopted a draft law on intelligence, which increases the effort against a potential covert company of Russia's influence on the United States and other countries, and seeks to strengthen Congressional control over US intelligence services, the report said..

The bipartisan bill concerns responses to threats to national security, the activities of the US intelligence community, as well as its control by the Congress. The document includes a classified application that is not made public.

The document also provides for countering terrorist attacks and should contribute to the fight against terrorists in Iraq, Syria, North Africa and other countries.

Now it is expected that the Senate bill will be adopted this week.
