Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka intends to file a petition for the resignation of the Cabinet of Ministers to President Milos Zeman this week, according to Ceske Noviny.
Today, the Czech prime minister held a press conference, during which he explained that the resignation of the government is related to the activities of the first vice-premier, the country's finance minister Andrei Babish. He is suspected of financial fraud.
"I am ready to inform the president about his resignation, I guess, this week already," Sobotka told journalists..
According to Boguslav Sobotka, he can not be held responsible for a government in which the finance minister is suspected of financial fraud.
Recall earlier reported that on the eve of the presidential and parliamentary elections the government of Sobotka faced the problem of slow growth of salaries in the Czech Republic. On the one hand, the government wants to keep the influx of labor that the country lacks, and on the other, to raise salaries to win voters.
