3329 years ago, having received the Law on Mount Sinai, we became a people. And we went through all the trials of this world, but we are alive. Any other people would surrender after just one twentieth century, in which fascism and communism competed in the sophistication of ways to kill a Jew - both physically and spiritually.

No wonder our name is the people of Israel. Our forefather Jacob received a second name, having passed all the tests on a foreign land.
