We are alive!

3329 years ago, having received the Law on Mount Sinai, we became a people. And we went through all the trials of this world, but we are alive. Any other people would surrender after just one twentieth century, in which fascism and communism competed in the sophistication of ways to kill a Jew - both physically and spiritually.

No wonder our name is the people of Israel. Our forefather Jacob received a second name, having passed all the tests on a foreign land. When he returned home, he said: "I lived in a foreign land, I was tested by all the abominations of this world, but I have not changed". * We also returned to our country. We, too, have not changed. We continue to love and hate. To love for our talk, our jokes, for our doctors and our stuffed fish. Hate? For our talk, for our jokes, and for the high percentage of Jewish doctors, of course, also.

We are alive, and now most of us have lived in our country for almost 70 years, where we decide what to have and what not to have.

And there is no one to nod your head at. Age does not allow.

We are alive and as always we will make you happy with good news, jokes and stuffed fish, now paired with hummus and falafel!.

* Not a direct test, but the meaning of what has been said.
