The international human rights organization Human Rights Watch in its new report on the use of chemical weapons in Syria provided new evidence of the use of these weapons and involvement in its use by the forces of Bashar Assad. The organization refers to evidence of Turkish and French expertise regarding the use of sarin gas, as well as the remains of ruptured shells at the site of attacks.

The shells were identified, such as those that were produced in the Soviet Union. Identifiers were the shell of the projectile and the green marking on its board, for which it is possible to install the use of the KhAB-250 and KhAB-500 bombs.
