In Indonesia, on the island of Java at the age of 146 years, a man named Sodimejo died who was the oldest inhabitant of the Earth.

This is reported by the Russian BBC.

Sodimegio was hospitalized due to worsening of health on April 12. However, a week later he was already going home and insisted on an extract.

According to the relatives of the long-liver, on his return home Sodimegio could eat only a couple of spoons of porridge and drink some water.

"So he lasted a couple of days, then until his death, he generally refused to eat and drink," - said the grandson of Sodimegio.

Recall that Sodimegio, according to the documents, was born in December 1870. However, the official registration of newborns in Indonesia began only at the beginning of the twentieth century.

However, local authorities insisted that the documents of the long-liver were genuine.
