Egypt in June this year plans to introduce a system of electronic visas for foreigners. Will issue such entry visas will be possible not on arrival in Egypt, but from anywhere in the world, writes Egypt Independent referring to the message of the Minister of Tourism Yahya Rashid.
Previously, such visas were planned to be introduced in May. It is expected that the new visa system will ease the burden on the country's security agencies, as well as speed up the passage of tourists at airports.
Also, it was reported about the plans of the Egyptian authorities to significantly increase the prices for entry visas, but later the country's leadership rejected this idea.
