The daughter of US President Ivanka Trump denied rumors that her father decided to strike at the airfield in Syria because of her reaction to the government-sponsored Bashar al-Assad's Himataku in Idlib, which killed dozens of people.

"This is an erroneous interpretation," she said during her visit to Berlin, commenting on her possible involvement in the decision to launch a missile strike, ABC News reports..

Ivanka Trump admitted that she shared her opinion on the cruelty of the occurred chemataki with her father, and their positions in this matter turned out to be similar.

At the same time, she stressed that the state leader can not make such a decision based only on emotions and added that before the missile attack on the Syrian airfield, Trump was guided by verified information and competent advice at all levels.

Thus, she denied the words of her own brother Eric, who had previously stated that Ivanka was heartbroken and indignant at the chemical attack in which dozens of children were killed, and this reaction strongly influenced the US president.

Ivanka holds the position of "special adviser to the president" and works in the White House on a no-cost basis, and her husband Jared Kushner is a senior adviser to the US president.

Recall, April 4 in the Syrian city of Idlib as a result of the use of chemical weapons killed more than 100 people, 400 more injured.

In response, the United States struck a powerful missile strike on Syria on the night of April 7. Two US warships in the Mediterranean released at least 50 Tomahawk missiles. The aim was the airfield Shairat in the province of Homs in western Syria.
