Five-day funeral ceremony will begin on October 25.
Previous such ceremony took place in the country more than 70 years ago.
As reported, the King of Thailand Phumipon Adulladet died October 13 last year at the age of 88 in the hospital.
The monarch has experienced health problems for the past two years, but his condition has become critical during the last week before his death.
Phumipon Adulladet became King of Thailand in 1946 and was on the throne longer than all monarchs in the history of the country.
