Ukraine managed to achieve the resignation of PACE President Pedro Agramunt, who was considered impossible, thanks to the fact that the Western European deputies "went into rage" and "smelled blood".

As it became known, the key reason for the resignation was the unacceptable cooperation of the Spanish MP with Moscow.

Deputies of several factions, in fact, violating the PACE procedures, simply blocked the meeting - one by one took the floor and urged Agramunt to leave.

The scheme of the resignation will be as follows: Agramunt will not even appear in the session hall on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, except for one hour when he brings the king to the hall and listen to him from the chair in the presidium of the assembly.

Further, he will lead the king home, and after the session closes - he will come to the Bureau meeting to officially announce his resignation.

For another month, this resignation will not be documented. A written statement that Agramunt resigns president, he would bring to the meeting the Presidential Committee and the Bureau of PACE to be held on May 29 in Prague. And already at the next Bureau, in late June, the assembly will be able to choose a new president.

As reported by the "Observer", earlier the PACE established an organ for "fighting" with its pro-Russian leader.
