The occupied territory of the Donbas is a toxic territory, which both Ukraine and Russia are trying to push each other into. It's not a matter of people, territory or land, but the thing is the monstrously altered state in which society. And this poisoned society, headed by gangsters, I think no one will voluntarily enter into themselves. For Russia, the full integration of "L / D" into its state is a nightmare. It is unclear what they will do with their elite, and then Zakharchenko and Plotnitsky with their full-fledged wealth (all these militants and stuff). Is it that everything will be integrated into the Russian establishment? It will be a crazy house.

Putin now does not know what to do with his governors, to plant or not to plant, and if to plant, who and whom to leave. Moreover, all these people, whom he himself appointed. And then you have to deal with these bandits? I do not think Putin is completely crazy to make such a decision.

Therefore, no integration of "L / DNR" regarding subjectivity in the Russian Federation - of course, all this will not happen. Crimea is more than enough. With him it is not clear what will happen. With all the criminality of annexation in the Crimea - one must be aware of the difference. In Crimea there was no war. Yes, indeed, there are bandits in power, but the gangsters who did not fight. And Donbass is a heavily and seriously genetically modified territory. And of course there will be no integration into Russia.

There will be pumping some money, it will be that Russia calls humanitarian aid, there will be support for weapons, relatively little support from the armed forces. Naturally, Putin does not need a big war in Ukraine, all the more, he understands perfectly well that the Ukrainian army today is not what it used to be.

Therefore, there will be no integration in the sense that there will be a sluggish attempt to maintain the status quo. Putin is most profitable to have a non-healing wound in the side of Ukraine. This is what he recognizes. There are no other options and can not be.
