The Bureau of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe approved the decision to create an independent body that will inspect the PACE deputies accused of corruption. This mechanism can also be used against PACE President Pedro Agramunt, who yesterday was demanded to resign, European Pravda reports, referring to his sources in the PACE Bureau.
The decision was made in full proposed volume, although there were attempts to soften it somewhat. However, the decision does not require approval in the PACE, and is already considered final.
First of all, they want to use the mechanism in relation to "Azerbaijani lobbyists", the scandal with which was discussed by European media. The scandal is also involved in the head of the PACE Pedro Agramunt.
