The results of the first round of the presidential elections in France allow Europe to breathe a sigh of relief.

This opinion was expressed in the commentary to the "Observer" by the diplomat, the head of the board of the State Enterprise "European Telecommunications of Ukraine" Vadim Trykhan.

"Europe can breathe with relief first of all. Frexit is postponed. Yesterday there was some kind of intrigue. 4 candidates had approximately the same ratings. Now the situation is completely different, "said Trukhan.

According to him, it is obvious that the right-wing radical candidate Marin Le Pen does not have a chance.

"Right-wing radicals traditionally do not win in France. With a probability of 99.9%, it can be argued that Emmanuel Macron will become France's next president, "summed up the diplomat.

As reported by the "Observer", Sunday in France held the first round of presidential elections: all the details.
