For the output in the second round will compete 11 candidates, four of which have a real chance to win. ZN. The UA collected main information on the main candidates.

Who has the greatest chance of reaching the second round?.

Candidates with the highest rating remain centrist Emmanuel Macron, as well as ultra-right Marin Le Pen with a rating of 23% and 22% respectively. The representative of the party of the government Benoit Amon has only 8% of support, which means about the almost unrealistic exit of the candidate in the second round. Nevertheless, it is worth noting that it is Amon who is the most consistent supporter of anti-Russian sanctions and support of Ukraine among candidates. Amon repeatedly mentioned the desire to continue Francois Hollande's policy in France's pressure on Russia on the issue of the Minsk agreements.

Among the other candidates, the pro-Russian views are dominant, but there are exceptions.

Emmanuel Macron Macron is the youngest and at the same time the most rated candidate for the current elections. In addition to the highest support in the first round, Makron has a weighty advantage over any other candidate in the second round. Supporters of this candidate are pleased with a balanced fiscal policy, a positive attitude towards Europe and the place of France in it, as well as good relations with world leaders. Opponents of Macron remember his banker's past (hinting at lobbying the interests of the richest), and also complain about the lack of a strong team behind him.

The foreign policy agenda of Macron is the most positive for Ukraine, among the main contenders for the post of head of state. Makron repeatedly condemned the Russian aggression, and also spoke about the need to strengthen the European Union. At the same time, although Makron speaks about the need for a dialogue with Russia, he reminds about its violation of international law in case of the annexation of the Crimea. Therefore, this candidate is criticized in Moscow, and the head of Macron's headquarters announced information and cyberattacks on their server from Russia.

Marin Le Pen Foreign Policy Le Pen is a mirror contrast to Macron. Le Pen proposes to abandon the Schengen agreement and close the borders. In addition, the head of the ultra-right "National Front" announced the possibility of France's withdrawal from the euro zone, the EU, and NATO. It is true that in the last days of campaigning, Le Pen slowed down and concentrated on combating immigration and closing borders, proposing to take the remaining issues to referenda.

Le Pen frankly flirts with Moscow, arguing about the meaninglessness of sanctions, the Russian Crimea and the alliance with Vladimir Putin to fight globalists. Previously, Le Pen was accused of obtaining loans from Russian banks, and her visits to Moscow leave no doubt about her foreign policy priorities.

The head of the "national front" is accused of several violations, including the misappropriation of money from the European Union. However, now Le Pen refuses to testify on this case, using parliamentary immunity.
