Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov called "corrupt Shaytans" the authors of articles on the persecution of gay men in Chechnya.

According to him, journalists should "ask those corrupt Shaitans to apologize to the Chechen people" and "kneel down because they insulted, humiliated, accused".

Under the "corrupt Shaytans" Kadyrov implied authors of articles about the persecution of gays in Chechnya. Commenting on reports that secret prisons operate in the republic, Kadyrov said that "all human rights activists of the North Caucasus went to see" and did not find "any such case".

"It's just that in the West they really want everyone to live by their rules, stop building families, give birth and raise children, worthy sons. They have men there marrying former men, "- said the head of Chechnya.
