The terrorist group "Islamic State" moved its "capital" from the Syrian city of Rakka for 140 km - to the city of Deir ez-Zor, sources in the US Department of Defense told the American television channel Fox News.

"Because of the growing wave of air strikes and pressure from three sides of the US-backed Syrian forces, IGIL has moved the so-called capital from Raki," the statement said..

Over the past two months, the US, with the help of drones, has witnessed a massive movement from Raka of "officials" and "administrators" of IGIL. US officials speak of "the imminent battle for Raccoon, but there are no more leaders of IGIL there".

In the forthcoming battle for Raccoon, the US forces count on the help of the Syrian Kurds.
