The US clearly does not want to escalate with North Korea, but at the same time it will not stop until it attains complete nuclear disarmament of that country.
This opinion was expressed in the commentary to the "Observer" by the director of the Institute of Political Analysis and International Studies, Sergei Tolstov.
"On the part of the Americans, there were sound explanations.
On the one hand, they say that they will not rest until they achieve nuclear disarmament, and on the other hand, no one has sent aircraft carriers there and, in general, are going to dispense with restrictive measures. Washington will certainly continue negotiations with China on this matter, persuading to influence Kim Jong-un. And the South Korea will not leave the White House, either, "said the international.
As the Observer reported, North Korea threatened the United States government with a "superpowerful preemptive strike" that would "wipe Americans into ashes".
