This opinion was expressed in the commentary to the "Observer" by the head of the association "Union of Peacekeeping Operations Participants", military expert Sergey Grabsky.

"This primitive muscle game in the style of 60-70 years. The Russian side is acting inadequately, not realizing that the Russian Air Force resources are hopelessly outdated and for their destruction, the Americans will not have to make any serious efforts. And such flirting is more aimed at creating an external picture for Russian television: "Look, how cool we are. We fly where we want, "said Grabsky.

According to the military expert, the US Air Force would instantly shoot down Russian planes, but the Americans also take advantage of such provocations.

"If this were not beneficial to the opposite side, which on this wave is spinning its arms race system, they would be immediately shot down.

And this is beneficial to both parties - all show that they are cool and in practice, "- said Grabsky.
