The town of Ferryland on the island of Newfoundland has become a tourist attraction: its modest landscape was varied with a white iceberg. On Easter weekend on the road leading to the town, a traffic jam has formed due to those wishing to be photographed with a floating ice mountain, the Canadian television company CBC News.

The sea off the coast of the province of Newfoundland and Labrador is known among the people as the "alley of icebergs" because of blocks of arctic ice, each spring drifting to the south. Often they freeze into sea ice and stand still until the end of spring or early summer, but this iceberg sat on the ground and may stay for a long time, suggested the Mayor of Ferryland Adrian Kavan in an interview with The Canadian Press.

This large enough iceberg is stuck near the coast, turning into an interesting background for photos. A beautiful iceberg near the shore is good news for tour operators. "Alley of icebergs" has already started the high season.

It is reported about a hundred drifting icebergs in the Atlantic Ocean - much more than usual for this time of year.

Tourists specially come to Newfoundland to bypass the icebergs on the kayak. This year, along the "iceberg alley" has already passed about 600 ice blocks, although for the whole of last season there were 687.

The death of the "Titanic" can be "experienced" with the help of virtual reality. After the steamer sinks, the player can study his remains.
