What is the Russian foreign policy of late Putin? We reject the political "reasoners" and abstruse concepts in which whole ministries, institutions and individuals are practicing, trying to attract the attention of "himself," we will remove the patriotic husks and inflate the cheeks - and all will be reduced to the helpless infant formula: "I'll freeze my grandmother's grudge" , Writes Galina Sidorova on Radio Liberty.
Most of the "feats" of the decade, Russian foreign policy giants invariably committed exactly to "American grandmother", or rather, "grandfather". Therefore, these exploits ended either with a disgrace (as at the last meeting of the UN Security Council), when the Russian representative, for lack of serious arguments on a piece of paper, peppered with vocabulary. Or stupidity on the verge of a foul when the Guards missile cruiser Varyag was driven to the South Korean port of Pusan, so that he outstripped the aircraft carrier Carl Winson sent by Donald Trump to the Korean coasts. There were these "races" the very day when the raging Kim threatened Trump with the launch of his arsenal already specifically in the American side, and Trump threatened Kim with a preventive blow if he continues the internationally forbidden nuclear tests. Do not fall off the offspring of the North Korean defense industry, barely taking off, it is still unknown what would have come to an end. And the Russian sailors are here on the line of fire, with the demonstration of the St. Andrew's flag in the Asia-Pacific region, as stated in the headquarters of the Pacific Fleet.
Or here they helped Trump out of spite of Hillary Clinton. And he, ungrateful, surrounded himself with generals, spends most of his time fighting off accusations of being too intimate with Moscow, and even "for our Assad" "tomahawknul".
But in Syria Putin's team did nothing to "eat" Americans in the person of Barack Obama. Instead of joining the international coalition of 60 countries, they decided in 2015 to fight on the side of Bashar Assad - also like against the "Islamic state" (banned in Russia), back the adversary, but most importantly, as the unforgettable Nikita Khrushchev used to say, Show "kuzkina mother" to uncle Sam. So they tried, that even they took Bashar in bail in 2013, promising to the troubled humanity that the Syrian president, according to the Kremlin's will-want, would destroy all his chemical weapons. But Assad, this weapon from somewhere still still gets and gets, and it somehow regularly shoots. Moscow, however, only with her hands spreads: they say, we have something to do, and resolutions in the Security Council that call upon Assad to order,. Putin and Lavrov can only observe how "our Trump" punishes "our Assad" for bad behavior.
And how much gloating was in the Kremlin about Brexit! The Kremlin strategists were buzzing: we are up against the rebellious Britain against capricious Europe. But the tragedy in Khan-Sheikhun, or, more precisely, the style of the lack of an adequate reaction to it from the Kremlin, happened, the new head of the Foreign Office Boris Johnson, without thinking twice, canceled the visit to Moscow. Apparently, now all the hope for Marin Le Pen with her nationalistic views. "Our Marin" is helped by spite of all the sane civilized and, in general, before Russia unleashed a war in Ukraine and seized the Crimea, which was completely loyal to Putin by Europe. However, come this "our Marine" to power in the elections on the next Sunday (although I strongly doubt that Le Pen will succeed) - how long will she remember Vladimir's friend, coupled with the millions of loans received from Russian banks, especially one of them By now, I seem to have safely rested in the Bose?.
With China, too, it all began in a pique for the West. The result is also not encouraging: the gas contract of the century is being darkened, during the last vote in the Security Council on the resolution condemning Assad, Moscow was distanced from Moscow, and on top of that - the friendship between the Chinese leader and the American leader in the residence of the latter. Clumsy clarification of Peskov, as if statements about China's distance from Russia in international politics, "do not quite reflect reality," only confirm: reality is exactly this.
Putin in this reality has succeeded in another - in what homegrown patriots tirelessly blame his predecessors: Putin surrendered Russia. Entangled in his anti-Americanism, Putin surrendered Russia to the idiots, putting it in dependence on the actions of inadequate "allies" like Bashar Assad and Kim Jong-un.
The patience of the international community and its own citizens - each in its own corner - Kim-grandson and Assad-son - are special cases: the first in decades real threat of an uncontrolled conflict that threatens to develop into a nuclear. And it seems that if Putin's diplomats continue to act in spite of "American grandmother", the world will one day collapse.
... "The team of" Gaza "!" - minted our military engineer, in military training classes at MGIMO, ridiculously softening the sound of "g", which made the whole action look even more comical. Future diplomats and international journalists had to pull on gas masks and chemical protection suits. It was in another life - in the mid-1970s. The oil painting was supplemented by a ban on wearing trousers by students at the military department, which we protested against, when we went to mini-skirts. In general, with all other components, to meet the standards could not everyone, put on a protective suit - units. Therefore, at the end of the "training" usually followed: "Everyone has died!".
How could such a "preparation," even taking into account its form and content, come in handy on the foreign policy field-even then, at the end of the Soviet regime, when the confrontation with America was, as they say, "the norm of life," the head did not fit very well. However, the current diplomatic shoots (and in the university program of the military department, I suspect, little has changed), it seems that only she mastered it. Otherwise, we would not be watching with a sinking heart, like. The official representative of the Russian Federation in the UN Security Council, as an ultima ratio pokes his British counterpart. However, the deputy minister of foreign affairs Sergey Ryabkov, who stood up for the subordinate, just finished the image, calling it an escapade "a serious emotional signal" to "these excellencies", who "like peas on a wall, even a stake on their head".
The press secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov, incidentally, came from the depths of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, dotted the "i", stressing that in the current difficult times "manifestations of softness are fraught with disastrous consequences," therefore, the country's interests have to be defended "fairly tough".
In short: "All have died!" To spite themselves, naturally.
