People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the Servant of the People faction Anatoly Kostyukh advised Ukrainians with low salaries to change jobs. This is how he answered the question about low wages in Ukraine with rising prices for housing and communal services in the comments under his post on his Facebook page.
The parliamentarian's message concerned the consequences of Ukraine stopping the transit of Russian gas to Europe.
User Pavel Gook asked the people's deputy when Ukrainians' salaries will be raised against the backdrop of rising prices for utilities.
" And when will wages be raised to EU levels "
Kostyukh responded by advising him to ask his employer about a salary increase or change his job to a higher paying one..
“Here you should contact your employer, or change your job to one where the working conditions and salary will suit you. At the same time, I will be glad to talk about your successful business and the level of workers’ salaries,” the deputy wrote.
In the declaration for 2023, Anatoly Kostyukh indicated that his annual salary was UAH 626,414. He also noted that he had 350,000 UAH and 32,000 dollars in cash and 19,192 UAH on the card.
Let us remind you that on January 8, People's Deputy Nikolai Tishchenko, who was recently under round-the-clock house arrest, appeared at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada. Focus found out how he did it.
On December 28, MP from the Servant of the People Maryana Bezuglaya responded to advice from a military man to improve her personal life. He criticized the parliamentarian because of problems in the Ukrainian army and advised her to focus on family life. Bezuglaya responded by pointing out “sexism, self-confidence, PTSD and shifting responsibility” in the serviceman’s statements.
