Ukraine withdrew from two international agreements with Moscow in the field of cooperation on nuclear safety. This was reported by the press service of the State Inspectorate for Nuclear Regulation. agreement on cooperation between the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Nuclear Safety of Ukraine and the Federal Supervision of Russia for Nuclear and Radiation Safety, which was signed in Vienna on September 19, 1996;

agreement between the State Committee for Nuclear Regulation of Ukraine and the Russian Federal Supervision Authority for Nuclear and Radiation Safety on the exchange of information and cooperation in the field of safety regulation in the use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes (signed in Moscow on August 14, 2002). The order to withdraw from the agreements was signed on June 24 and. Head of Department Oleg Korikov. The decision was agreed with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Ecology and the Deputy Prime Minister.
