President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that representatives of the Russian Federation would not sit down at the negotiating table to end the war as long as they feel their strength.

" There are two sides: Ukraine, around which the world is united, and Russia, which barbarously seizes foreign territories. And, if at least one side wants to unleash this problem, we will definitely untie it.. We do not see the desire of the Russian Federation to sit down at the negotiating table and diplomatically, without killing and bullying, unleash a solution to this war. Why? Because she still feels strength,"

According to the President, Russia can be weakened by pursuing a powerful sanctions policy against it.

" And slowly push them back. Therefore, we should not have any steps back from our side... And the whole world can. Powerful sanctions policy. You definitely can. If a disconnection from SWIFT is introduced, then you need to immediately block the entire banking system (of Russia). You can’t introduce half (of sanctions) and wait for the result - how else can Russia bypass certain sanctions. It is necessary to work powerfully in this regard, sometimes losing this or that money. But it's temporary. And you won’t lose it in the end, because you earn the main thing – independence,” he stressed..

He noted that energy, food and infrastructure independence is very important.

" If this happens, then Ukraine will not survive. What's next? Further Poland, the Baltic countries, Europe - missile strikes. The same will happen in business.. And you know it very well. The appetite of the state, which has violated international law and our territorial integrity, is great... Then it will begin to dictate terms to you, how to do business, with whom, with which states to have business relations, and with which not,"
