The US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations on Wednesday evening, May 18, unanimously approved Bridget Brink as Ambassador of this country to Ukraine. She can arrive at the American diplomatic mission in Kyiv in June.

In addition, she served at the State Department as a senior adviser and deputy assistant secretary in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs and coordinated issues related to Eastern Europe and the Caucasus. Since 2011, Bridget Brink has been Deputy US Ambassador to Georgia, and from 2014 to 2015, Deputy US Ambassador to Uzbekistan.
