At the initiative of the State Bureau of Investigation, the court seized the corporate rights and accounts of business entities belonging to relatives of people's deputies of Ukraine Viktor Medvedchuk and Taras Kozak. There were more than 40 million on the arrested accounts. UAH.

The State Bureau of Investigation continues to work to identify the illegally acquired property of Viktor Medvedchuk, Taras Kozak and their relatives.

On Wednesday, employees of the Territorial Directorate of the State Bureau of Investigation of Lviv conducted regular searches at facilities associated with the families of deputies. Investigative actions took place at six addresses, one of them - in the Kyiv region, the rest - on the territory of the Lviv region.

The searches were carried out as part of criminal proceedings on suspicion of abuse of power and violation of the rules for the protection or use of subsoil and legalization of proceeds from crime (Art.. 364, st. 240, h. 2 st. 209 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Relatives of Kozak and Medvedchuk are the subjects of criminal proceedings for illegal sand mining at two quarries in the Lviv region.
