Zelensky visited the front line, met with soldiers

On the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with servicemen on the front line, in the zone of the joint forces operation in Donetsk region. According to information from the Office of the President, Zelensky examined the combat positions and familiarized himself with the conditions of service. The head of state honored the fallen heroes on the symbolic memory alley built at the site of the death of the soldiers. The President congratulated the servicemen on the holiday and presented them with state awards and valuable gifts. He thanked the soldiers for their service.

“It is a great honor for us to thank you for protecting the borders of our state, protecting our territorial integrity and our sovereignty,” the President said.. Volodymyr Zelenskyy also expressed gratitude to the families of the military for giving the heroes confidence and warmth. “I want to thank every Ukrainian for protecting our lives. Take care of yourself, you are heroes. I am grateful to you, " The servicemen presented the President with a memorable souvenir - an installation made up of fragments of enemy artillery shells.
