The European Union for the first time introduced sanctions for cyber attacks against citizens and structures of Russia, China and the DPRK.

Also, the European Union imposed sanctions on the structure of the GRU - the Main Center for Special Technologies of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces.

In addition, due to cyber attacks, the EU imposed sanctions on two Chinese citizens, as well as one organization from China and one from the DPRK..
