LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky believes that shaving mustaches and postponing wedding ceremonies are important precautions against coronavirus infection. He said this at a plenary meeting of the State Duma of the Russian Federation on March 12.
Zhirinovsky asked the Russians to carry out a series of measures that, in his opinion, would help them not to become infected with the coronavirus. In particular, he suggests “breaking traditions”:
do not celebrate birthdays, postpone planned weddings, forget about kisses and handshakes.
" We drank tea and all. And if a magnificent wedding for 300-400 (people), as some people like to walk with us, it’s also impossible. I agree, habit, tradition. Break the tradition, ”RIA Novosti quoted as saying.
According to Zhirinovsky, travel and trips, especially to Ukraine, carry a great risk of coronavirus infection..
“Ukraine is in the largest risk zone. It’s necessary to close the border tightly with Ukraine, ”he concluded.
