Parliament proposed to allow deputies to speak in Russian

Bill No. 3084 registered in the Verkhovna Rada, which proposes to allow parliamentary speeches in the languages \u200b\u200bof national minorities with translation into Ukrainian.

This was reported on the website of the Verkhovna Rada, which published an explanatory note and the text of the bill.

The authors of the draft law are Oleg Voloshin, People’s Deputy of the Opposition Platform - For Life faction, and Maxim Buzhansky, Member of the People’s Faction.

The language of the work of the Verkhovna Rada officials to whom the law on public service applies is the state language.

At the same time, according to Article 10 of the Constitution, the Russian Parliament and other languages \u200b\u200bof national minorities of Ukraine can be used in the work of the Verkhovna Rada.

We are talking about the speeches provided for in Article 32 of the Rules, in particular, the report, concluding remarks, statements, resolutions, explanations, remarks, questions, messages and references, making proposals, amendments, announcements of deputy requests, making personal opinions.

In this case, if necessary, the Verkhovna Rada Office provides translation from the languages \u200b\u200bof national minorities of Ukraine into the state language and vice versa.
