Zelensky had a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Georgia

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Georgia Georgy Gakharia.

During the conversation, the head of the Georgian government said that he shared the pain in connection with the death of Ukrainian citizens during the crash of an UIA plane in the Iranian city of Tehran and expressed condolences to the relatives of the victims of the tragedy.

Georgy Gahariya assured the President that Georgia is ready to provide Ukraine with all necessary assistance.

Vladimir Zelensky noted that the main thing now is to conduct a full and objective investigation of the causes of the tragedy, and Ukrainian experts have already joined this process, the Office of the Head of State writes..

“We feel your support, Ukraine and Georgia have always been side by side in difficult moments in history. Experts work for us, we have already sent a plane with our best specialists to Iran and are working to ensure that the investigation is transparent, ”the Head of State said.
