Former rebel leader in DR Congo gets 30 years in prison

30 years in prison for crimes against humanity and war crimes. Bosco Ntaganda, the former leader of the Congolese rebels, issued such a sentence.

In July of this year, he convicted Ntaganda of 18 counts. This is involvement in the killings of civilians, the recruitment of minors for military service, rape, including children, and coercion to sexual slavery.
