The Cathedral of the Polish Orthodox Church forbade its priests to enter into Eucharistic communion with representatives of the UOC-KP and the UAOC.

This is stated in the statement of the Polish Church, which was adopted at the Bishops ’Council of the PPC on November 15, Ukrainian Pravda reports.

"The Holy Council of Bishops prohibits the priests of the Polish Orthodox Church to enter into liturgical and prayerful contacts with the" clergy "of the so-called Kiev Patriarchate and the so-called" Autocephalous Orthodox Church ", which in the past did much evil," the Council said in a statement.

The Polish Church stated that persons deprived of episcopal and priestly consecrations "cannot be leaders in establishing peace in the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, and their actions can lead to even more confusion".

As reported, on October 11, the synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate supported the provision of autocephaly to the Ukrainian Church.

Also, the synod removed the anathema from the head of the UOC-KP Filaret.
