The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dismissed the head of the Pension Fund, Aleksei Zarudny, and instead appointed the former State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance Yevgeny Kapinus.

The publication "Business Capital", citing sources in the government reported that Zarudny wrote an application for dismissal at his own request.

The interlocutors of the publication said that the Pension Fund was headed by Kapinus, who held the position of State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance from February last year to October of this.

Evgeny Kapinus himself in the commentary to the Ukrainian News agency confirmed his appointment. It is also reported that the dismissal of Zarudny and the appointment of Kapinus occurred on October 31.
