The victory in the presidential elections in Brazil, ultra-right candidate Zhair Bolsonara can change the political situation not only in the most important country in Latin America. Changes will also take place in world politics as such - Brazil plays a significant role in it.
Moreover, it was Brazil that was seen in Moscow as the most important player in the model of a multipolar world, whose countries must resist the United States.. It is not by chance that in the informal union of BRICS - Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa - only one country from Latin America. And a very important question arises - will she stay there? And if it remains, will not its president argue with the leaders of Russia and China?.
For several decades in the presidential elections in the leading countries of Latin America, if outright populists won, then only the left. Frankly right-wing politicians such as Bolsonar came to power on the continent only on tanks.. But in recent years, left-wing populists have managed to knock out an entire continent.. Venezuela, which is ruled by the successors of the madman Hugo Chavez, simply ceased to exist as a state, the question of introducing external administration on its territory is just a matter of time. Brazilian leftist leader Lula, who came to power under the slogans of the fight against corruption, built such a corrupt pyramid that his really corrupt predecessors never dreamed of. As a result, the left ideas of a large part of society began to cause obvious allergies and the pendulum swung radically to the right.. Bolshonar also received the support of big business and the Catholic Church.. And that means support sufficient to elect the number of voters as president of the country..
Now Brazil will be different. And with it, all Latin America will begin to change.. And this, of course, will affect the position of the United States, they can get a new important ally, whose opportunities should not be underestimated..
But the most important thing, however, is not even. The most important thing is that the Brazilian example will demonstrate to the ultra-right forces throughout the world that they can defeat the left radicals only by using their own weapons - shamelessness, empty promises, appeal to instincts..
And if at the same time to enlist the support of oligarchs and clerical forces - victory is ensured even in a very poor and dysfunctional country, which, it would seem, is doomed to a left march.
A hundred years ago, the understanding of this simple thought led to the fact that the main alternative to the triumph of communism in Russia and social democracy in Europe was Mussolini’s fascism and then Hitler’s National Socialism. Now history risks to repeat again.
