Verkhovna Rada registered a bill on depriving the title "People's Artist of Ukraine" of singers Ani Lorak, Svetlana Loboda, Vitaly Kozlovsky and Taisiya Povaliy. The same title is proposed to be taken away from Russian singers Philip Kirkorov and Nikolai Baskov, as well as from film director Vladimir Bortko.. Draft Resolution No. 9156 "On making proposals on the use of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions)" was registered in the Parliament on October 3.
"The draft resolution proposes to apply to the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine with a proposal to apply personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) to individuals, namely to deprive Ukraine of state awards Taisiya Povaliy, Ani Lorak, Svetlana Loboda, Vitaly Kozlovsky, Bortko Vladimir , Philip Kirkorov, Nikolay Baskov ", - the document says.
The authors of the bill - 14 deputies. Among them - Rybchinsky, Parasyuk, Chernovol, Ilyenko, Lutsenko and Levchenko.
It is noted that the adoption of the resolution will contribute "to the prevention of anti-Ukrainian manifestations among cultural, art and show business figures, and will also be a logical continuation of the struggle against separatism at all levels".
The authors of the resolution called the condemnation of anti-Ukrainian and separatist manifestations of artists, art and show business. As well as the application to them of public responsibility in the form of deprivation of state awards of Ukraine.
