Attorney General Yuriy Lutsenko advises foreign volunteers, who fought on the side of Ukraine in the Donbass, to have with them confirmation of participation in the ATU. He stated this today at a briefing.

"To all friends of Ukraine who now have contracts with the Armed Forces of Ukraine - Belarusians, Italians, Russians, Azerbaijanis, citizens of other countries - their contract is an unconditional ground for refusing any extradition procedures to other countries," said Lutsenko, quoted liga. net.

With regard to those volunteers who fought on the side of Ukraine before the introduction of the law about the contract, Lutsenko noted that "they also recommend having documents of commanders, twin-cities, combat orders or a certified list of the military unit".

"We are also not entitled to turn Ukraine into a sump of criminal elements that are massively entering Russia from Russia," he said..

The commander of the battalion named after Sheikh Mansur Muslim Cheberloevsky confirmed in a comment to the correspondent of LIGA. net that Tumgoev is a member of his battalion and took part in hostilities since November 2017.

The Prosecutor General's Office stated that they have no evidence of Tumgoev's participation in the ATU.
