The Court of Appeal of England ordered Russia to return to Ukraine 1.16 million pounds (more than $ 1.5 million), which Ukraine paid as legal costs for the lawsuit on "bonds of Yanukovych". This is stated in the court decision of September 14 on the results of consideration of the complaint against the decision of the High Court of London, FinClub writes.
It was reported that on September 14, Ukraine won an appeal to the Court of Appeal of England, while the court sent a new ruling for a lawsuit seeking to recover $ 3bn of Eurobond debt from Ukraine in favor of Russia.
At the same time, the Russian Federation stated that the London court decision, although it postpones the decision on the dispute between Russia and Ukraine on Eurobonds for $ 3 billion, but Russia is still waiting for the verdict in its favor.
Recall that in the fall of 2013, after Yanukovych's refusal to sign the association of Ukraine with the EU, Russian President Vladimir Putin offered Viktor Yanukovych a loan of $ 15 billion, of which the ex-president of Ukraine was able to receive only $ 3 billion on December 20, 2013.
