Minister of National Defense of Poland announced plans to create a National Defense Fund. Mariusz Blaschak, who took part in the opening of the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce, said that the department has already begun work on the creation of a fund whose resources should come from non-budget sources:.

"It is important for us to build our defensive capabilities to the best extent possible to modernize the equipment of the Polish army as best as possible in order to better meet the requirements of the North Atlantic Alliance and, first of all, our citizens who want to live in a safe country, defense of Poland Mariusz Blaszczak, who is quoted by Polish Radio.

The head of the Defense Ministry noted that part of the modern weapons department buys in Polish companies. However, there are areas that require contracts with foreign companies, and, as the minister noted, even before the end of the year, the ministry plans to complete another major contract. Some experts believe that, perhaps, we are talking about the acquisition of missile artillery as part of the program "Omar" (Homar).
