The former deputy head of the presidential administration of Yanukovych, Andrei Portnov, said that the People's Deputy Vladimir Muraev handed him the NewsOne television channel for a three-year term management. Portnov wrote this on Facebook.

"The owner of 100% of the statutory fund of the company Vladimir Muraev handed me the TV channel to the management for a period of three years. Under the terms of the contract, on commercial terms, I was given the right to carry out all activities for the management of the TV channel, "Portnov wrote.

According to Portnov, the agreement provides that during this period the owner has no right to interfere in the activities of the channel or to unilaterally terminate the contract. If the owner wants to sell the channel, then according to the terms of the contract, he must give priority to his Portnov.

The agreement was signed on August 27 in Vienna.

Portnov April 2, 2010 was appointed deputy head of the presidential administration, Viktor Yanukovych. Portnow also became the head of the main department for judicial reform and the judiciary.

January 24, 2014 in the midst of the Revolution of Virtue Portnov was appointed first deputy head of the AP. After the victory of the Revolution, the Dignity of the Portnets left Ukraine for Russia, then lived in Vienna.

In February 2018, the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea was informed that the agency verifies the involvement of former First Deputy Presidential Administration Andrei Portnov in the decision of the Supreme Council of Crimea at the time of the annexation of the peninsula.
