Head of the Kharkiv "Popular Front", Verkhovna Rada deputy Irina Efremova took part in the Independence Day celebrations on Independence Square.
After the events Kharkiv "people's fronts" gathered near the monument to Taras Shevchenko, where they laid flowers to the monument, - reported on the page of the regional organization in "Facebook".
As Irina Efremova noted, for Kharkiv the monument to Kobzar is a symbol of free, independent Ukraine, indestructibility and extraordinary strength of the spirit of our state.
The People's Deputy congratulated all those present on one of the largest public holidays and stressed that the future of Ukraine depends on all citizens, and therefore everyone in their place should make every effort to make the common Ukrainian house peaceful, cozy and comfortable.
