Prime Minister of Slovenia became a former comedian

The Prime Minister of Slovenia was Marjan Sharetz, his candidacy was approved by Parliament. This is reported by the Slovenian portal RTV.

According to the report, 55 out of 90 deputies voted for Sharets. His candidacy was nominated by the center-left parties. For election it was necessary not less than 46 votes of deputies. Today, the Left Party MPs who had not planned to participate in the government voted for him.

It is noted that Sharets heads the party LMS, which had never before been running for parliament.

LMS agreed on a coalition of the minority with the Social Democrats, the Party of the moderate center, the party of ex-Prime Minister Alenka Bratushek SAB and the party of pensioners Desus. These five parties have a majority in the parliament - 43 mandates.

The new prime minister has 15 days to represent his government.

Marian Shrets in the past - an actor and a comedian, he was twice elected mayor of the city of Kamnik.
