The ideologist of the election campaign Donald Trump and his former adviser Steve Bannon said in an interview with The Daily Beast about the intentions to create in Brussels a fund to support right-wing populist nationalism. It is the adherents of this ideology that in the coming years, according to Bannon, will manage Europe.

Among the politicians whose support Bannon intends to rely on - and according to his intentions - is going to help, the American strategist named the former leader of the British Eurosceptics Nigel Faraj, the leader of the French rightists Marin Le Pen and the Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban.

It is not very difficult to see that this list almost completely coincides with the list of sympathies of Russian President Vladimir Putin. And this, of course, is no coincidence. Bannon and Putin are practically the same thing. It is a program of the destruction of the European Union, the destruction of the process of European integration, the return of wars and tragedies to our continent.

Right or protective ideology - just a cover for the plans of revanchists. It's not difficult to see that Europe is attacked by politicians from countries that are not part of the continent, but they claim a special role in world politics. The US acquired this role only as a result of two world wars. Right now, when President Trump tries to set his country against the rest of the civilized world, it is clear how important the European Union has become. And which Bannon will like it?.

Russia in case of complete loss of influence in Europe risks becoming just a continuation of China. This is exactly what they fear in the Kremlin. What makes you cling to Ukraine and try to restore zones of influence in Central Europe. That is why the interests of such as Bannon and such as Putin coincide.

They expect that after the death of the European Union and the transformation of Europe into a conglomeration of warring states, the White House and the Kremlin will be able to divide the continent into spheres of influence and eliminate a strong competitor from the international arena. Plus will be done away with world trade and other "shortcomings" of globalization. Everything will be Le Pen.

Trump in this configuration does not even look like an adherent of Bannon, but a missile that is launched into orbit to the delight of the Kremlin.

A person who lives in the past can not but delight the people who are preparing Europe for a tragic future in order to satisfy their crazy ambitions.

Ukraine in this situation can only count on the victory of Europeans over their ill-wishers. We can believe in fairy tales as much as we can, we can do everything ourselves, and the US will help us. But in a world in which there will be no European Union, Ukraine will again become just the outskirts of Russia - even if it retains its formal independence and the American embassy.
