In the US, the Grand Jury decided to indict 12 GRU officers on the case of interference in the election of the US president. This was announced by US Deputy Attorney General Rodenstein.

According to Rosenstein, they are accused of organizing cyberattacks in order to steal documents, as well as their subsequent publication. According to Rosenstein, the hackers mentioned under the pseudonyms DC Leaks and Guccifer 2. 0, through which documents were published, were in fact created by the accused.

In the press release of the Justice Ministry, the names of the accused are indicated:

Victor Netyksho, Boris Antonov, Dmitry Badin, Ivan Ermakov, Alexei Lukashev, Sergei Morgachev, Nikolai Kozachek, Pavel Ershov, Artem Malyshev, Alexander Osadchuk, Alexei Potemkin and Anatoly Kovalev.

At the Ministry of Defense, the charges against the alleged GRU staff at the time of publication of the news did not comment.
