The Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine is interested in developing relations with the Russian state corporation "Rosatom".

The publication contained a letter sent by Igor Nasalik, Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine, to Kirill Komarov, Deputy Director General of Rosatom.

In it, Nasalik thanks Komarov for the invitation to meet and proposes to do it in Brussels on July 9-12 this year.

The minister confirmed the interest of the Ministry of Energy in the development of bilateral relations with Rosatom, taking into account the prospects for their growth and "the existing high level of cooperation in the field of nuclear energy".

Nasalik called the need for the resumption of joint projects, for example, the creation in Ukraine of the production of Rosatom-owned nuclear fuel producer company TVEL, which was frozen in 2015.
