NATO fighters on duty in the Baltic skies last week flocked twice to recognize and escort Russian military aircraft flying in international airspace.

As reported by the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense, last Monday an Il-76 aircraft was escorted from Kaliningrad to the mainland of Russia, with another take off was the An-26 and two Su-30 fighters flying in the same direction.

Il-76 and An-26 transport planes flew with transponders on, and Su-30 fighters - without a transponder and did not communicate with regional dispatchers, notes tvnet. lv.
